Hello Friends,
I hope life is treating you all well. You haven't heard from me in a while because I am still a bit under the weather and not quite my old self yet. But I have been working on a few projects while stuck in the house. The problem is that I cannot find the charger for my camera. I usually keep it in the drawer right beside the refrigerator but for some reason it is not there. I can't take any pictures to share with you guys until I find that charger. Therefore I went way back to February a year ago and found a picture for a birthday card and note card to share with you. What I really wanted was to let everyone know that I am still here. I also would like to remind the ladies that are participating in the ATC swap about the deadline of March 18th. Thanks for reading and when I find my camera charger, I will post some projects.
Hugs,

Happy Valentine's Day !!

Hello Friends,
I know I am late in posting on this special day but it was filled having a wonderful time with my daughter, grand daughter and husband. We went to the park and she fed the ducks a whole load of bread, played on the slides, took a nap with me, shopped and made cup cakes with sprinkles. She is such a big girl.

My share today is the Valentine's card I made for my daughter and grand daughter. The patterned paper is from K and Company called "Smitten". The highlight of the card I think is the heart. I did not want to use my only grunge board heart of that size from Tim Holtz so I traced it on a piece of card board and cut it out. I painted it with Making Memories red paint (from years ago). Then I used a technique I learned from Arlene (mybutterflykisses.blogspot.com). After the paint was dry I covered it with Versa Mark, dipped it in Utee, melted it with my heat gun, dipped it again in the Utee and while it was hot and melted I dropped tiny glass microbeads on top and they stuck in the hot Utee. It was my first time trying this technique. It was fun but use a box because I had the glass beads going everywhere. The beads are from Martha Stewart. I hear you can do this same technique using Glossy Accents without having to use Utee and heat.

So another Valentine's Day is almost over and I hope you had a wonderful time with your love ones. Oh yes, I made the same
card for my husband. Take care,
Hugs,

Random Act of Kindness

Hi Ladies,
I would like to share with you the beautiful card and ATC tag I received from a member of one the Yahoo Groups I participate in. Her name is Judy J. and her work is excellent. I love the vintage style and the colors. Her style is so unique and beautiful. The ATC card is 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 and was enclosed in a small plastic bag that fit it perfectly. Thank you so much Judy.

Those of you that are going to participate in my ATC Swap, I will have the info for you in the next few days. Take care and have a wonderful week.
Hugs,
