12 Days of Christmas

Hey Everyone,
I know you probably have noticed the change in the contents of my blog. I'll explain that later. What I would like to share with you are five tags I made in a challenge hosted by Media Artist "Tim Holtz". I did not get to do all 12 but he posted 12 tags in 12 days on his blog with complete instructions. I have a long, long way to go in order to perfect all the techniques he showed us, but I did my best and had a good time making them. They really look better in person. You know about my camera issue. You can take a look at his 12 on his blog here. It seems as though he makes these tags every year but this is the first year that I decided to try them. Whew.. some were easy and some were way out there.
So you can see I did the easy ones. Hope you enjoy them.
Hugs,

Christmas Cards

Hello Everyone,
Today's share is a couple of cards I've made in the past few days. I plan to stop now and start mailing those that I have completed. I will start with my friends and family out of state. Then I will mail cards to my local friends because it should not take but a couple of days for them to arrive. I've found out that the more embellishments you add to a card, the more it cost to mail. So this years cards are simple without all the flair as those I did last year. But they were all made with love and hopefully will be appreciated. Enjoy!!

Close As A Memory

Hello Friends,
Yet another of my friends has lost a family member and I'd like to share the card I will put in the mail today. It seems as though that this is happening more often than usual. My long time friend lost her only sister. The card base was made with Bashful Blue card stock and the stamp from the "Close As A Memory Stamp Set". On the inside of the card the sentiment read "Your loved one will always be as close as a memory and the God of all comfort as close as a prayer". On the picture, the feather looks black but it is brown. I just have to get me another camera.

I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving. I was so grateful to have my daughter and her family visit on this special day and weekend. We had a wonderful time. Take care and please be careful during his holiday season.
Hugs,
