Frankie!!

Hello everyone,
I noticed that I have 2 more followers on this blog. I don't know who you are but please leave a comment so that I can thank you for subscribing. Today's share is a paper piercing piece of Frankenstein. I am not a big fan of paper piercing but I can say I enjoyed putting together this little guy. Thank you LisaLisa for the encouragement. On the inside of the card I have a piece of white cardstock with Happy Halloween on it. I will probably mail it to a friend that have small sons.

Remember, my Christmas Card Workshop is this Sunday afternoon October 4th at 2:00 PM. If you did not get an invite, please contact me so I can prepare for you. If you would like to bring a friend, please do so. I just love sharing my joy with others.
Hugs,
Sharon

The 411 on Getting a Clean Cut on Your Whisper White Card Stock

Hi Guys,
This morning as I was grazing the video's on YouTube (as I do every morning), I came across a video made by Tanya Morose. She showed how to get a clean cut on your whisper white card stock. I did not understand that even though I had a new blade, any time I cut my whisper white card stock I got a ragged edge. I then had to use my sander to clean up the edge. Tanya demonstrated on her video that the reason for this is that the whisper white card stock is thinner than our colored card stock and when it is cut some of the card stock get trapped in the groves of the cutter. The answer to this problem is this and believe me it really works. Take a piece of regular computer paper and place it down on your trimmer and then lay your whisper white card stock on top of it and cut. Voila, you have a clean cut. Now if your blade needs to be changed this will not work. Try it...

Sharon

Photography Inspiration

Hi ladies! I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend.

I'm taking a small break from posting some of my recent work to share with you an image taken by my daughter in Venice, Italy. This image is part her series entitled, Bella Italia or "Beautiful Italy". She took these images with her vintage Polaroid 660 land camera. I never thought that I would see the day when a polaroid camera was considered "vintage"!

I love this image, and I wanted to share this lovely collection with you. To see more of her work, please visit her blog.

Hugs,
Sharon

Christmas Gift Card

As my grand daughter would say "Hi Guys",
I am back from from my wonderful adventure of taking care of my 3 year old granddaughter while my daughter and her husband were on vacation. This was the first time that I have had her to myself for that length of time. We learned a lot about each other and had a good time. Even though, I am glad to be home with all my "stuff"!

Today's share is a project that I just had to make. I just love it. One of our fellow demonstrators "Andrea Walford" did a tutorial on this cute Christmas Gift Card Holder. You can insert a gift card or you can just write a sentiment inside. I had so much fun making it and I know you would also.
