Old Project, New Paper

The mini-notebook featured today had been done time and time again. I just love them. This was one of the first projects I made when I signed on with Stampin' Up! I made a ton of them and gave them away to family and friends. Today's mini notebook was covered using the new "In Colors" card stock called "Rich Razzleberry". The patterned strip down the left side is from one of our new Designer Series Papers called "Razzleberry Lemonade". I can't wait to show you our new colors for the 2009-2010 catalog year. The names are so cute and the colors match perfectly. Stay tuned for more sneak peeks.

Note Pad and Pen Holder

Hello Friends,
This is my take on a design done by my upline, Angie Kennedy. I used some of the card stock and designer paper from our new "In Colors" by Stampin' Up! for the 2009-2010 year. I'll talk more about this later because I really want you to be Wowed!!! I have been suffering for the past week with sinus problems which has kept me at home (including the heat). Therefore, I have been preparing for the debut of the new catalog and have been working hard on projects and cards to show you. Stay tuned and enjoy.
Hugs,
Sharon

3X3 Note Cards

Hello all,
The new catalog will be out in just about a couple of weeks from today.  I have a lot of paper that will be retiring so I had to do something with what I have. Today I am sharing some 3X3 note cards I made this morning.  My camera isn't the best and I don't think you can see the shiny part of the lined paper but they are so cute in person. I used Whisper White card stock for the base cut at 3 x 6 folded to make a 3x3 card.  I next took the black lined paper from a retiring speciality set called "Rockability" cut at 3x 1 1/2 and put it across the from of the base card.  I used the scalloped oval punch (I love it) and punched the oval in silver card stock.  This is not card stock from SU but some I had in my stash.  Stampin Up! does sell brushed silver card stock.  I then stamped the Best Wishes sentiment from the "Oval All" stamp set in Black Stazon and used dimensionals to attach it to the scalloped oval piece.  All these items are available now and in our new catalog. If you are interested in the Rockability paper, it will be retiring June 30th.

Sharon

I'm Home!!

Hello Friends,
I finally made it back from the big ATL.  I had a wonderful time with my daughter and her family, especially my sweet grand baby Brie.  Even though, I missed being home because I had just received my new preview items from Stampin' Up! and I did not get a chance to do anything but look at them.  While in Atlanta, I needed to do something so on one my excursions I was able to get a pack to make a 6X6 mini book.  I quickly ordered a few prints on line and picked them up in an hour.  The attached picture is the front of the mini-book.  Sorry I could not post the actual layouts because they are all pictures of my grand baby.  If you get a chance to come by, I will show you the pictures I took of the book.  I left it with my daughter.  Making this mini-book held me over until I got home yesterday. Now I'm ready to do something. Hope you had a great week.
Hugs,
Sharon

New Matchbox Video on Website!!

Hi Everybody,

I hope your Sunday went as well as mine. We had a grand time this afternoon with our granddaughter. I cannot believe how much of a big girl she is, being 2 going on 3. Anyway, I'd like to direct you to my Stampin' Up! Website. I'm sure you are aware of our Big Shot XL Matchbox die. Posted on my website is a New training video on how to make these beautiful matchbox's that can hold a treat for a friend or just about anything that will fit. What excited me about this new video is that along with showing you how to assemble and embellish the box the normal way, you are also shown how to make the die into a flip top box to hold small gift cards. The photo's above show you a completed sample of the original way the box is put together and the original die. Click HERE to access my Stampin' Up! website to see the new video and the new technique for the flip top box. It's located in the bottom left corner. Thanks for all your support.

Hugs,
Sharon
